2001, Dan McCool, created Dr. ColorChip Corporation. After working in the automotive detailing and paint touch up industry for several years using various inferior methods to address paint chip repairs on local dealerships’ used car inventory, we realised a need for a product that was simple in design, allowing for ease of use by relative novices to the business. With several months of old-fashioned garage chemistry under our belts, we finally devised a product and process that enabled us to produce high-quality paint chip repairs in a fraction of the time it took using the slower, more traditional methods.
After using our new process on thousands of vehicles, we began offering a commercial paint stone repair system to individuals, small businesses and dealerships. Our mission is to provide these partners in the auto touch up paint repair industry a competitive edge with state-of-the-art technology for superior repairs. Our commercial service providers throughout the US dominate their markets using our unique process and high-quality products. Additionally, we cater directly to dealerships that desire to perform these repairs in-house, as well as auto detailers and car care service centres in search of additional profit centres.
